The Chevy Trax is an incredibly affordable subcompact SUV that has been a part of the Chevrolet family since 2013 and has been available in the US since 2015. Packed with comfort and convenience features and boasting excellent fuel economy, the 2024 Chevy Trax offers drivers tremendous value for its wallet-friendly price tag. If you’re looking for a Chevy Trax for sale, you’ll be pleased to find that it is available in five unique trims. Each one caters to a slightly different driver with different priorities. So, a variety of shoppers with different tastes can find a Trax trim to their liking. Today, we will take a look at the highlights of each trim and explore their distinct personalities. Let’s dive in.

The LS

Starting with the LS, it will enjoy the 1.2 L EcoTec turbocharged I-3 engine that is found standard across every 2024 Chevy Trax. This peppy engine can get up to 30 MPG combined, 28 MPG in the city, and 32 MPG on the highway. So whether you have to stick to congested urban environments or get to fly down the freeway, you should not find yourself at the pump too often in the Chevy Trax. Every 2024 Trax trim is a front-wheel drive vehicle, and the LS trim specifically rolls on 17-inch steel wheels.

The LS will have wireless smartphone connectivity for Apple and Android devices. Also, on the infotainment front, you will see and control your connected smartphone apps on the standard 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen. Additionally, you will see important vehicle and journey information on the 3.5-inch diagonal driver information center.

You will also find this across all trims: Chevy Safety Assist, Chevrolet’s suite of driver assist features that enhance alertness and safety on the road. The standard features included in the suite are Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking, which can help you avoid front-on collisions. It also includes Front Pedestrian Braking, which can take over braking when necessary to avoid a collision with a person. Also included in the suite is Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, which will alert you when you are drifting from your lane and gently nudge the steering wheel to guide you back into place. You will also get a Following Distance Indicator, which will help you keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you, as well as IntelliBeam auto high beams, which automatically turn on the high beams in low light settings and off when vehicles are approaching.

Also standard is an HD Rear Vision Camera that helps you with maneuvers such as backing out of driveways and getting into tight parallel spots. Also standard across all the trims is Chevy’s popular Teen Driver technology. It allows you to set limits for things like speed and volume for new drivers and shows you a report card on your teen’s driving behaviors. This report card will show things like the number of hard braking maneuvers, top speed limits reached, miles driven, and more.

The LT

Next, we will look at the LT trim. It builds on the LS trim, including everything found in the LS, plus some more comfort and convenience features. For starters, you will jump from the 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen to an 11-inch diagonal touchscreen. You also get a larger diagonal color driver information center on an 8-inch screen. This model will also jump up to a standard six-speaker audio system, as opposed to the four-speaker one on the LS trim. Plus, while the LS has a simple cloth seed trim, the LT trim has a mixture of cloth and Evotex for its seat trim.

The LT trim additionally gets you a remote start as a standard feature, which gives you the power to activate the climate control before getting in the vehicle. On the note of climate control, the LT adds automatic climate control. You will get a standard cargo cover to conceal valuables in your trunk in this trim, which is not seen on the LS trim, and standard charging-only USB ports for powering up devices. Finally, it rolls on 17-inch machined two-tone wheels for a more striking aesthetic.

The 1RS

Next, we will move on to the Rally Sport, otherwise known as the RS trims. The Trax has two: the 1RS and the 2RS, so we will start with the 1RS.

You’ll find plenty of performance-inspired style details on the 1RS, including 18-inch machined two-tone wheels, as well as unique RS badging with a bolder grille than found on the LS or LT trims. You’ll also notice black bowtie emblems on the outside and striking red interior accents. The 1RS loses the 11-inch diagonal touchscreen and 8-inch driver information screen of the LT and goes back to the 8-inch diagonal color touchscreen and 3.5-inch driver information screen of the LS trim.

This trim, however, adds heated driver and front passenger seats and the available Sunroof Package, which lets in natural light. A heated steering wheel is also standard on this trim. Plus, you get a remote start as a standard feature, as you do with the LT trim, and you’ll enjoy a wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel that is both stylish and track-inspired.

The 2RS

Moving onto the 2RS trim, it has everything the 1RS trim has and builds on it with several comfort and convenience perks. It also includes everything you find on the LT trim.

So, what is different about the 2RS? It rolls on 19-inch machined two-tone wheels and comes standard with roof-mounted side rails. Move inside the cabin, and you will see that this trim jumps back up to the 11-inch diagonal HD color touchscreen and the 8-inch diagonal color driver information center. It also has Evotex seats, which are easy to clean and super stylish.

The ACTIV

Finally, we arrive at the ACTIV trim, an athletic and monochromatic model that will turn heads. This trim includes all the content of the LT trim, plus some comfort, convenience, and style details.

The first thing you will notice is that this trim rolls on 18-inch black aluminum wheels. It also has a stunning black grille with titanium-color chrome accents and unique ACTIV badges. The ACTIV-exclusive details continue on the inside, where you will see details that reflect the model’s personality throughout.

This trim gets heated power outside mirrors to melt away frost and ice on cold days. It also adds a front passenger seatback pocket for convenience. The driver will be comfortable on long trips thanks to an eight-way power driver seat with two-way power lumbar controls. Thanks to keyless open, all you have to do is approach the vehicle with your fob on you, and it will unlock for you. A wrapped steering wheel adds to the elegance of this trim.
